Seiko watches

Seiko: Japanese efficiency in the world of watch making.

Seiko watches might not be as famous as Rolex's, but that does not make them any less excellent, and their quality is on par to that of Rolex. Seiko started as a rather small company in the year 1881 when Kintaro Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop in the famous, luxurious area of Ginza, in Tokyo. The brand became popular rather fast thanks to their excellent usage of quartz: they invented the world's first quartz watch and a few years later, the world's first quartz chronograph. In the year 1980, Seiko rose to world fame by producing the first automatic quartz watch that combined the self-energizing power of an automatic watch and the accuracy of the quartz, and soon Seiko men’s watches and Seiko ladies watches became an icon in the watchmaking industry not only thanks to their efficiency and accuracy, but also to their beauty and sleek looks !
